A Year End Reflection 2014

Looking back, we've accomplished a lot this year.

Maybe not as much as we had wished but a lot...
and we've started a really great personal charity for our K-9 friends,
which has proven to be a very rewarding experience.

I put a lot of this in my previous blog,
but am moving things over for our own personal scrapbook...
hopefully I keep up with it better this year.

LuLu...the stray

So, two days before Thanksgiving, Zach called me one evening to inform me that a friend found a Shih-Tzu in their area, so we picked it up and posted flyers on every mailbox in the neighborhood and joining neighborhood.

She is about 8 years old, kind of dumb, has the breathe of a dead animal,
coughs like a lifelong smoker, has few teeth left, is super needy, and loves to cuddle.

After a month of looking for her owners, we assume she was dumped...
and since she is old, smelly, and probably dying, she's not the most adoptable candidate,
which leaves us to be her retirement home...which is fine with me.

I absolutely love her.
